Our Story
Denver Lawn & Landscape is a trusted, woman-owned landscaping company serving the greater Denver, CO area since 2016. What began as a small mowing business has grown into a full-service landscape construction and maintenance company known for its reliability, craftsmanship, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Our story started when I purchased a mowing business with my dad. My brother-in-law joined me at the beginning, helping to lay the groundwork for what Denver Lawn & Landscape would become. Over time, it evolved into a solo venture, and I’ve proudly built it into what it is today. At the start, we focused solely on lawn mowing, edging, and seasonal cleanups. As we gained experience and a loyal client base, we saw opportunities to expand. We ventured into landscaping construction—adding retaining walls, paver patios, sod installation, mulch, and decorative edging to our list of offerings.
By 2022, changing weather patterns in the region pushed us to focus more on sprinkler system installations and drainage solutions. With increased snowfall and unpredictable weather, many yards in Denver began facing flooding, shifting soil, and water retention problems. We responded by developing custom irrigation and drainage strategies that help our clients protect and preserve their outdoor spaces, regardless of the season.

Fantastic Customer Service (Thanks Maya!)
I don't have my yard service scheduled until next week so I'll try to remember to update then, but I wanted to first post the experience of my first phone call. I called to schedule a general yard cleanup and spoke with Maya. She gave me very straightforward pricing, told me what to expect, and asked all the right questions about my yard. She was so helpful that I kept her on the phone for quite a while after that though. I asked her details about various potential landscaping projects I've been considering such as gravel, sod and sprinkler system installation (they do all of these). She provided a very informative overview of what each of these projects entailed, the general time/maintenance/cost involved, and was super patient answering all my questions thoroughly without ever trying to "sell" me anything.
It is so refreshing to have a dedicated, knowledgeable human pick up on my first call and answer all my questions right away. A lot of other landscaping/trade places I call is either (1) hard to reach / don't pick up; (2) person is only trained to schedule & sell services without any deeper understanding of the business; or (3) it's a busy foreman in a rush to their next site with no real time for questions. Not their fault if course, just makes it tougher to know what you'll be getting.
Assuming the quality of their work match that of their customer service I will be using them for future projects for sure!
